greater good? September 21, 2008

I think that every experience we have can have some sort of effect on us – that we can take a little bit extra knowledge away with us and use for the future.

I rediscovered my friends- I found a side of some of them that I never knew about.  And it was because of an experience that I saw this new side to them.  I appreciate them a lot more now….so never underestimate your friends. they are top trumps..

Everything has a conequence, nothing can be done without affecting something else.

life can only be understood backwards but it must be lived forwards.

why do we do what we do?routine, for fun, for the good of others. why do we hurt people?we all do it, to protect ourselves usually….risks should be taken in life and I fully believe in doing everything with your heart and soul….love others.

I’m rambling ramblsome stuff because my head feels like scrambled eggs. What if you don’t know what you want anymore and your hurting other people because of it?should you just cut your ties and save the hurt?or prolong it until you know what’s right?

Think About June 12, 2008

Well,

As many of you will know Sue Sherriffs ran off to Pakistan today to do some amazing stuff, so let’s think about her and hope that she is being looked after.

I also hope that whoever reads this would take time to think about those suffering from cancer.  It has spread it’s way through our society and I understand that almost everybody knows of someone with cancer.  Despite it being so prevalent we shouldn’t forget those who suffer.  Cancer steals lives of not only the old, but the young too, with families that need taking care of.

Cancer should not be used too caually in our society, it could affect anybody. So please, remember those who have to live with this diease, and those who lost the fight.

i know i posted this somewhere else but i wanted it in life category and i confused.apologies.

So, I wrote this on my way back to Glasgow from Eng-land when visiting my biological father.  I’m feeling quite happy and jumpy due to happy and jumpy tunes I am listening too. Such as the chemical brothers, the gossip, black rebel motorcycle club, and er…ella Fitzgerald, not so much her though.

The fews days at my dad’s were fine really.  Always takes me a couple of days to settle in and I’m never sure whether I’m an adult or a child i.e can I shout at the kids if they are being naughty? I do anyway, even if shouting doesn’t help the situation.  Apart from dad looking a bit greyer and not too plump nothing much had changed with the family.  I was awake from about 6am each morning because me wee brother and sister don’t understand lying in, and once your awake it automatically means much noise has to be made.

Been in touch with Boots and managed to get some extra shifts, this is good news because money is something which runs away from me pretty quickly.

Last submissions tomorrow and I’m free, thank goodness!

Oh yes I said I would answer life’s biggest question

Why are we here? Well why not. We can love, laugh, sing, dance, cry and it’s great. So enjoy it.

the beginning May 20, 2008

So, I feel to prove to some people (not naming any names) that I will use this so here I am, using it.

Let’s start at the beginning, back in the time of dinosaurs, t-rex and all that jazz there was a teeny tiny girl, with blonde curly locks, called Laura who lived in a cave…..

nah not really!bet your quite sad  and wanted to know how the story ends!well let’s just say those dinosaurs had never heard of kung-fu…

so I live with three pretty ladies, a blonde, a brunette and a ginger.we all met a blissful two years and 9 months ago along with two other pretty girls (a brunette and blonde who live else where in glasgow) and we never looked back.  We embarked on our University life together with high hopes and wild dreams.   we are creative, edgy, amazing WOMEN who are going to save the world with our community social art work so watch this space.

Also in my university life, I met a young man named Grant, he’s rather nice. He has shiny floppy hair and is pretty snazzy when it come to taking a photograph.  You will hear lots more about him I reckon. :)

Of course my life didn’t BEGIN at university, don’t be ridiculous – that would make me pretty smart for a 3 year old.ehehe (it’s ok i’m really 20).  I used to live in a place which is just grand. or small. whatever.  Up in The Shire-land i have some nice friends and family, and although my mum and gran are very unlikely to read this it’s worth giving them a mention eh?  i was brought up pretty well and am now a grounded (some may disgaree) sensible (indeed i can be) young lady (laydeee).

Well chaps, this is not helping me finish my essay and I also need to pack for eng-land tomorrow, get my hair cut at 10am tomorrow.  I will maybe attempt to write something more profond at some point. I do have nice thoughts (birds tweeting, blue skies etc). so check in again where I may answer one of life’s biggest question – Why are we here?

Peace Out.xx
